Audio created during June 2015 artist residency at the Sam D. Hamilton Noxubee and Choctaw National Wildlife Refuge in Mississippi.  Sitting still on a red chair near the water’s edge, I recorded its sounds to be raw like life.  Each 6-minute piece was made over a 24-hour period: 6 pm, midnight, 6 am, and noon.  They are to be played in chronological order with a final recording of 6 minutes and 1 second performing all four at once.

The city of Richmond in California celebrates Independence Day on July 3rd.  Sitting still near the Bay’s waters, I recorded its sounds.  Each 6-minute piece was made over a 24-hour period: 3:30 am, 9:30 am, 3:30 pm, and 9:30 pm.  They are to be played in chronological order with a final recording of 6 minutes and 2 seconds performing all four at once.

Sitting on a hotel balcony directly facing the Annenberg Space for Photography in Los Angeles, I recorded its sounds.  Each 3-minute piece was made over a 24-hour period: 9:31 am, 6:25 pm, and 9:10 am.  They are to be played in chronological order with a final recording of 3 minutes and 2 seconds performing all three at once.  During my visit, a rare occurrence of rain occurred.
